New Advances in medical technology has allowed hospitals and facilities to diagnose and treat their patients better. Acquiring a new machine for a facility not only means the hospital is up to date with technology standards but it also means it can save countless lives and improve the quality of life of patients. Improve the quality of care to the patient has become the main motive for hospitals and facilities when treatment their patients. Insurance companies are also changing the way of payment focusing in quality of care. This is why is important for a facility to not only have the necessary equipment to treat patients but also to be innovative and achieve patient’s expectations in a high quality of care environment. Being able to treat a patie nt in a quick an effective way with less exposure to radiation is an improvement. Portable x ray machines result in lower doses if radiation to the patient and less exposure risk to the technician. If the proper measurements are taken when doing mobile x ray testing there should not be any reasons why being able to provide the patients a faster, reliable and quality of care to the patients should be an issue. Increase revenue and provide quality of care to the patient is todays standard for most hospitals and facilities. Being able to improve the services a facility provide is an everyday goal the hospital have. Time is gold in a healthcare environment. Being able to provide digital displays images within seconds after x rays are done and for physicians to obtain instant results (Ngan, Wong, Ng, †¦,2015). in faster treatment plan and better care management for patients.
